Native American Blues/Rock band BLUE MOUNTAIN TRIBE honors family and loved ones left behind with the grief and loss of thousands of Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women.

Despite a dark history and only 5% speaking the native language, a local Hawaiian hero fights to save his culture by teaching traditions, sustainability and life skills to disadvantaged indigenous kids.

Rita Ebel, aka the Lego Oma, is a German grandma and wheelchair user. Rita is a few decades old - the saying “age is just a number” couldn’t be more accurate in this case - has been married three times - but who is counting? Since her car accident, which broke her lumbar spine and caused paralysis from her waist down, she constantly had to find creative ways to continue doing the things she loves. When she noticed most of the stores in her hometown Hanau were inaccessible to her, she decided to make a statement by building wheelchair ramps from Lego, each a unique piece of art.

Inspiring stories of trailblazing women in the late nineteenth century who resisted social restrictions, refused to be held back and reimagined worlds that seemed off limits to them. They invented radical new clothes to do all the things they were not meant to like flying, hiking, swimming, cycling and more! Little is known about them today because many were hidden from history, hidden in the archives and, as it turns out, hidden in plain sight.
